A FEARLESS LION HEARTED WARRIOR – VEER ABHIMANYU 
வீரத்திருமகன் அபிமன்யு

Broken words, haunted memories depicting a dark tale
A never ending pain of an abandoned child amidst a nightmare
His youth trapped in a twisted web
His fate engulfed into flames of treacheries
திக்கி தினரும் வார்த்தைகள், அச்சுறுத்தும் நினைவுகள் கூறும் ஒரு கருப்பு சரித்திரம்
முடிவில்லா வலியோடு முடிவை தேடி முடித்து வைக்க போராடும் ஒரு இளம் வீரன்
சக்கரவியூகத்தால் சூழப்பட்டாலும் அன்று அவனை விழுங்கியது சுழ்ச்சியின் வலைதானே தவிர வேறு ஏதும் இல்லை

He was slain unfairly and weaponless
Yet he roared like a fearless lion hearted warrior
His skin bled from every inch of his being
Yet his eyes were filled with fearless valour
நிராயுதபானியாக நின்ற வீரனை ஆயுதம் ஏந்திய கோளைகள் ஒன்றுகூடி சரமாரியாக தாக்கினர். இருப்பினும் ஓநாய்களின் வட்டத்திற்குள் சினம் கொண்ட சிங்கமாய் கர்ஜித்தான் மாவீரன் அபிமன்யு. சதை பிளந்து குறுதி பெருக்கடுத்த நிலையிலும் அம்மாவீரனின் கண்கள் இரண்டிலும் வீரமே ஓங்கியிருந்தது.

He fell biting into the dust, his knees hitting hard on the ground
His hands clasping the earth’s surface
Refusing to give up rising each time cutting open his opponents
Roaring louder with every breath he took
அவன் உடல் நிலத்திலிருந்து எழும் தூசியால் மூடப்பட்டிருந்தது. முட்டிகள் இரண்டும் தரையை கடினமாக அழுத்தின. கைகள் இரண்டும் நிலத்தில் படிந்திருந்தது. ஆனல் மனமோ எதிரிகளின் வீழ்ச்சியை எண்ணியிருக்க விடாமுயற்சி கொண்ட உடல் வெகுண்டெழுந்தது. வீற்றெழுந்த வீரன் எதிரில் வீற்றிருந்த கயவர்களை சிதைத்தெரிந்தான். தான் விடும் ஒவ்வொரு முச்சுக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு வீர கர்ஜனை அவனிடமிருந்து எழுந்தது. அதை கேட்ட களம் அதிர்ந்தது.

Shielding himself with a mere chariot wheel
He knew he was riding on the side of death
Unarmed he was brutally and merciless murdered
Murdered from behind multiple times by multiple people committing a sin
தன்னை நோக்கி மரணம் வந்தாலும் அந்த வீரனின் பார்வை எதிரிகளை நோக்கியே இருந்தது. அவன் வல்லவன்; அதனால் தான் உடைந்திருந்த தேரின் சக்கரமும் அவனுக்கு ஆயுதமானது. அபிமன்யுவின் வீர கதிர்களால் சாம்பலாகிகொண்டிருக்கும் படையை கண்ட கௌரவர்கள் எனும் கோளைகள் அந்த இளம் வீரனை அடக்க வழியறியாமல் ஒன்றாக சேர்ந்து பின் முதுகில் குத்தினர்.

After a last fierce roar … suddenly silence crept in
And finally the sun setting and sleeping on his horizon forever!
The sun gave up on him but the moon embraced him with open arms
He shines a twinkling star on the skies above
சினம் கொண்ட சிங்கத்தின் கர்ஜனைக்கு நிகரான அவனுடைய குரல் இறுதியாக ஒருமுறை கேட்டது. அதனை பின்தொடர்ந்து களம் எங்கும் மயான அமைதி நிலவியது. சூரியன் கண்களை மூடிக்கொண்டான். மாபெரும் வீரன் அபிமன்யுவின் உடல் மண்ணில் சரித்திருப்பதை காண இயலாது மலைகளுக்கு பின் மறைந்துகொண்டான். சந்திர குலம் தழைவிக்க பிறந்தவன் அந்த சந்திரனிடமே சென்று சேர்ந்தான். இன்றும், வானில் நட்சித்திரமாய் இருந்து தம் மக்களை பார்த்துக்கொண்டேயிருக்கிறான் அர்ஜுனன் சுபத்திரையின் புதல்வன்

அபிமன்யு உத்தமமான வீரன். வீழ்ந்தும் விதையாகக்கூடியவன். அன்று மரணித்தது அபிமன்யுவாக இருந்தாலும் வீழ்ந்தது கௌரவர்களே. மரணத்திலும் வெற்றியை நிலைநட்டியது அபிமன்யு என்ற இளம் நாயகனே! இவ்வுலகம் உள்ளவரை அர்ஜுனன் மைந்தன் வீர அபிமன்யுவின் நாமம் ஒலித்துக்கொண்டேயிருக்கும்.
வருங்கால இளைஞர்களுக்கு முன்னோடியாக சக்தியாக அர்ஜுனன் சுபத்திரையின் தவப்புதல்வன் வாழ்ந்துக்கொண்டேயிருப்பார்

RISE AGAIN ABHIMANYU !
மீண்டும் ஒரு அபிமன்யு பிறந்திடவேண்டும் !….  

Rise again Abhimanyu! The world needs a change, a good change, adharma is covering the world like how darkness swallow the sun during the eclipse.. Only Abhimanyus can fight over this situation even withought celestial weaponsa and wise advisors because Abhimanyus have the courage and willpower to fight till the end. They are the ones who never falls for defeats because they dont give up. Rise again parthaputra Abhimanyu!

Where will we go! The world has laid a labyrinth trap on us… We are in the midst of it. Poverty, deception, dominance, violence are the the forms of kauravas who have surrounded us and we are left helpless.. We are shivering in fear.. We cant expect Krishna or Arjuna to come but we can expect Abhimanyu because he is one of us… A normal man but with a noble heart.. Only you can breach through this labyrinth and save us because you were the one who save the mighty pandavas army single handledly. Rise again Abhimanyu!

There is no much time left. We are dwelling in fear and infliction of pain. We at least want to survive the rest of our days under the bright daylight! Rise again warrior Abhimanyu.. Bring your broken wheel… You will be our last hope..

பத்ம வியூகம் எடுத்துவா பாரதத்தில் நல்வழிபிறந்திட
பார்த்தனின் மைந்தனே பறந்துவா பாவிகளைப் பதம்பார்த்திட
பஞ்சமும் தீரலப் பாவிகளின் வஞ்சமும் போகல
அஞ்சுகத்து மைந்தனும் ஆழ்வதற்கு இங்கில்லை.  

எங்கு செல்வோம் எங்கள் மக்கள் என்ன செய்வோம்
பஞ்சம் பிழைக்க வழியில்ல பசுமையும் பாலையாச்சி
கொஞ்சி வாழ்ந்த எங்கள் கூட்டம் அஞ்சி நடுங்குதையா
பஞ்சி ஆலையும் மூடியாச்சி பட்டினியால் வாடியாச்சி.  

நெஞ்சமுழுதும் குமுறலாச்சி நினைத்தாலே நெருப்பாச்சு
எஞ்சியுள்ள எங்கள் நரல் ஏற்றம்பெற மாற்றம் வேண்டும்
சுபத்திரை மைந்தனே ஏன் இன்னும் வரத்தாமதம் நீயும்
ஏழு சக்கர வியூகம் அமைத்தே எழுந்துவா வீரனே!

சந்திர வம்சத்தில் அவதாரித்தவன் அபிமன்யூ
Mahaveer Abhimanyu born in the lunar dynasty

பாரத யுகத்தில் அபிமன்யூவின் பிறப்பு மகத்துவம் பொரிந்தியாது
Mahaveer Abhimanyu was also one of the bravest warrior at the time of Dwapara Yuga.
His birth is meant for the goodness of the whole bharata clan.

அபிமன்யூவின் பிறப்பு யாதவ மற்றும் சந்திர வம்சத்தையும் மகிழ்ச்சியில் அழ்த்தியாது
Mahaveer Abhimanyu’s birth brought bundle of happiness and joy to both yadava and kuru dynasty.

சந்திரனின் பிராகசத்தை போன்று பெரும் அழகுடன் பிறப்பேடுத்தவன்
Mahaveer Abhimanyu inherit the supreme brightness like the the full moon. He was a young and very handsome lad like his father Arjuna.

இவன் அன்பிலும் பாசத்திலும் அடிமையானவன்
Mahaveer Abhimanyu becomes a slave for true love and affection either it is shown towards him by others or from him to others. No matter what, Mahaveer Abhimanyu is one of the few person who could go untill the verge of death for his loved ones..

தர்மத்தை ஸ்தாபிக்க அகிலத்தில் பிறப்பேடுத்தவன் அபிமன்யூ
Mahaveer Abhimanyu descends to earth to uphold dharma among mankind. His birth is meant to withstand and protect the dharma from falling into wrong hands and Mahaveer Abhimanyu sacrifice himself to do so.

புனிதமான துவாரகையில் பிறப்பேடுத்தவன் அபிமன்யூ
Mahaveer Abhimanyu is a pure soul. Thus he was born in the land of god, the land where once the god resides, which is none other that the great Dwarka itself.

அபிமன்யு.. வாழ்க்கையின் கவிதை..
ABHIMANYU.. Poem about his life..

கருவினிலே கதை அறிவான்,
கதையின் விதை அறிவான், 
விதியால் விதையின் வேர் அறிவான்.
Abhimanyu learnt chakravyuha while in his mother’s womb but due to fate, he never learn the way to exit the chakravyuha.

அபிமன்யு என்கிற யுவன்,
அர்ஜுனன் சுபத்திரையின் மகன்,
உத்திரையின் வரன்,
பாரதப் போரில்-
பாண்டவர்களுக்கு இவனே அரண். Abhimanyu is a mere teenage boy, son of Subhadra Arjun, loving husband of Uttara. In Mahabharata war, he is the armour for the Pandavas.

தாயின் கருவாக, 
இவன் உருவாக,
தந்தை குருவாக 
சக்கரவியூகம் பயின்றான். While in his mother’s womb, his father Arjuna became his teacher and taught him about chakravyuha.

தந்தை வாய்,
வியூகம் அறிந்தான்,
பாதியிலேயே,
தாய் உறங்க,
அஃதிலிருந்து வெளியேறுவது
தெரியாமல் கிடந்தான். Through his father Arjuna, he acquired the knowledge of entering chakravyuha but unfortunately in the middle mata Subhadra was asleep and he couldn’t learn the way to exit the chakravyuha. 

காலம் எழுந்தோட,
சதுரங்க காய்கள்,
உருண்டோட,
வனவாசம் முடிந்து,
பாண்டவர்கள் கேட்டதோ,
ஐந்து ஊர்-
கௌரவர்கள்
தொடுத்ததோ பாரதப்போர். Pandavas was defeated by the Kauravas in the dice game. After the exile, Pandavas sent a peace talk with kauravas. They demanded only 5 places to rule, yet kauravas strongly denied their request and evoked the Mahabharata war. 

மாபெரும் போரில்,
கண்களே சாட்சியாய்,
கண்டதே காட்சியாய்,
பன்னிரெண்டு நாள் முடிந்தது,
பதிமூன்றாம் நாள் களத்தில்,
வீறு நடைப்போட்டு,
விடிவெள்ளி நுழைந்தது. The great war begin. 12 days passed. Then comes the thirteenth day. Mahaveer Abhimanyu entered the battlefield like a fierce lion. 

காலன் கவர்ந்த,
உயிர்களின் 
இரத்தம் காட்டாறாய்-
களம் கண்ட,
அபிமன்யுவின் அகவை,
பதினாறாய். The battle was very fierce till blood flow like river all over. Yet like a fierce thunder, a teenage boy called as Abhimanyu with a mere age of 16 entered the battlefield without a drop of fear. 

பகைவர்களைப் பார்த்தான்,
பார்த்தன் மகன்-
அவன்
பார்வை வெப்பத்தில்,
வேர்த்தான்
குருடன் மகன்,
இவனை கண்டவுடன்,
யுடிஸ்திரனுக்கு விரிக்கப்பட்ட
வியூகம்-
கண் நேரத்தில் பிளக்கப்படும்
என்கிற யூகம்,
தோன்றவில்லை துரோணருக்கு. Partha’s son Abhimanyu look into the eyes of his rivals. His eyes were spitting fire which made the blind king’s son petrified. Thinking of Arjuna’s absence, Dronacharya laid a trap in the form of chakravyuha to capture Yudhistira. But he forgets that there is 2 Arjuna in the battlefield. Only one is absent, but Abhimanyu the son of Arjuna, the exact replica of Arjuna is still there in the battlefield. And he just like his father is also able to break the labyrinth trap in a blink of eye.

கண்ணன்,
அர்ஜுனன்,
பிரத்யும்னன்,
மூவர் அறிந்த ரகசியம்,
ஒரு சிறுவனால் உடைக்கப்பட்டது
அதிசயம்-
துரோணர் அதிர்ந்தார்,
தலை குணிந்தார். Krishna, Arjuna and Pradyumna, only 3 of them know the secret to braech a chakravyuha. But Dronacharya was surprised to see a teenage boy who is able to break down this complex chakravyuha formed by the great master in seconds. This really made Dronacharya feel ashamed about himself as he was defeated by this mere xhild even before they both fight with each other. 

வியூகத்தை உடைத்தான்,
புயலென அறைந்தான்,
தலைகளை அறுத்தான்,
தேர்களை உடைத்தான்,
மகாரதிகள் நிற்கும்-
மையத்தை அடைந்தான்,
வந்தவன் சிறுவன் என்றெண்ணி,
வரவேற்றான் துரியோதனன்,
சில கணங்களில் ஆயுதம் பறிபோக,
சிறியன் அனான்
துரியோதனன்,
அவன் வதம் தள்ளிபோக,
பெரியப்பன் பீமனின் சபதம்
காரணமாகயிருந்தது. Abhimanyu break down the chakravyuha, he entered into it like a twister. He slayes everyone who attacks him on his way. He breaks the chariot of his rivals. At last he reached the center of the chakravyuha where he was surrounded by 7 maharathi. Duryodhana welcomed Abhimanyu thinking him as a child. But it is Duryodhana who became like a small boy infront of him, seems Abhimanyu seized all his weapons in a fraction of seconds. However Abhimanyu never kill Duryodhana though he is able to do it because he knows that his uncle Bhima has vowed to kill Duryodhana with his own hands. 

முக்கால் வீசம்,
படைகள் ஓட,
மீதமிருந்தோர்
தொடைகள் ஆட,
ஆடிக்கொண்டிருந்த
அபிமன்யுவின் கைகளில்,
வேகம் கூடிக்கொண்டிருக்க,
பார்த்தான் கர்ணன். Abhimanyu make most of the kauravas’ troop to run away for their life. While the left ones were forced to stay there, yet none of them had the guts to face him. However, Abhimanyu never bothered about anything and continued to move forward. His swiftness and power continue to increse as he move each step forward. This made Karnan who was just standing still and looking at Abhimanyu’s fight; to have cold feet. 

பார்த்தன் மகன்,
துள்ளிவிளையாடுகிறான் பயமில்லாமல்,
ஓடவிடுவான் பகைவர்களை
தடமில்லாமல்
என்றெண்ணி,
துரோணருக்குக் கண்காட்ட-
விளங்கிய அவரும் தலையாட்ட,
அபிமன்யுவின் முதுகினில் கர்ணணும்,
நெஞ்சினில் துரோணரும்
எய்த அம்பு பாய்ந்தது,
முதன்முறை
மண் பார்த்து
அபிமன்யு உடல் சாய்ந்தது. Karnan was aware that Partha’s son Abhimanyu is uncontrollable and he have the ability to destroy all the kauravas’ army including Duryodhana himself. Karnan also knew that no one in his group can handle Abhimanyu individually. So he signaled Dronacharya and Dronacharya also agreed to attack Abhimanyu in an adharmic way because he himself cant fight alone with Abhimanyu. So from behind, Karna stabs on Abhimanyu’s back shoulder while Drona stabs on his chest. For the first time in his life, Abhimanyu fell down facing the earth. 

உடல் தளர்ந்தாலும்,
உள்ளம் தளராமல்,
ஓடிவந்த தேரின் சக்கரத்தை
கையேந்தி-
இருக்கும்
மிச்ச உயிரையும்
தான் தாங்கி
எழுந்தவனை
தரை சாய வைத்தது
மீண்டும் ஒரு பாணம். Abhimanyu’s whole body is covered with blood. He became very weak. But it is Abhimanyu son of great Arjuna they are fighting with. Abhimanyu rise again to proof to them that he is Arjuna’s son and he will not accept defeat easily just like his father. Abhimanyu showed them that he was just weak by his body, but he still have the power and strength in his heart. So once again Abhimanyu rise. Seems he is weaponless, he took hold of a chariot’s wheel and attack the kauravas. But once again the kauravas shot him with their arrows which completely made his body to lay on ground forever 

இறுதியாக- மயக்க நிலையில் இருந்தவன் மீது
துச்சாதனன் மகன்
ஏய்தது உறுதியாக,
மண்ணில் சயந்தான்
ஒரு தீரன்,
பாரதப் போரின் 
மாவீரன். Lastly, when Abhimanyu was unconscious, Dushashan’s son with the help of his uncles, hit and break Abhimanyu’s head with a mace.And for once and for all, Abhimanyu breathed his last breath. 13 th day of Kurukshetra war is really a black day because on this day, a soul known for his pure faith, loyalty, love and exceptional bravery left the earth and descends to heaven to stay with the gods. A boy just at the age of 16 became the saviour of whole mankind. History can repeat itself but there will be only one person whom nobody is worthy enough to fit into his place in the past, present and future and that is the one and only Mahaveer Abhimanyu. Remember! In history there will be only one Krishna, one Arjuna and one ABHIMANYU….

சந்திரனின் அம்சம் கொண்டவன்திங்கள் குல தோன்றல் இவன்தனஞ்சேயன் தனயன் இவன்சுபத்திரையின் தவப்புதல்வன் உத்தரையின் கணவன் இவன்வாசுதேவன் மருமகன் இவன் இவனன்பு  மாமன் பலராமன் வசுதேவர் தேவகி பேரனிவன்பாண்டு குந்தியின் தவப்பேரன்

குரு யது வம்சத்தின் சிறப்புற்றவன்கர்ப்பத்தில் போர்க்கலை கற்றவன்அர்ஜுனன் அன்பு சீடன் இவன்வில்லேந்திய தனுர் வீரன் இவன்குரு வம்சம் தொடர காரணமிவன்யுகமாற்றத்தின் தொடக்கம் இவன்சக்கரவர்த்தி பரிக்ஷித்து தந்தை இவன்உபபாண்டவர்கள் அனுஜன் இவன்

பூமியில் எப்பெண்ணும் இதுபோலபெற்றிட மாட்டாள் ஒரு பேறு..உனை நான் ஈன்ற பாக்கியம்என் ஜென்மத்தின் பலனேயாம்.

English translation:

He is an incarnation of the moon god’s dearest son,He is the heir of the lunar clan,He is the son of Dhananjaya( Arjuna),He is the only son of mata subhadra,He is the only Prince and lifeline of matsya princess uttara,He is the most loving cousin of lord Krishna and Balarama,He is the doting grandson of Pandu and Kunti.

He is an unique and the most outstanding person among the kurus and yadus,He learnt the warfare while in his mother’s womb,He is also regarded as a student of Arjuna himself as he learnt the warfare from his father while in his mother’s womb,He is a marvelous archer,He is the sole reason for the continuity of kuru clan,He is the main reason for the change of Yuga,He is the father of Emperor Parikshit,He is the brother for the Upapandavas. Nobody in this world isn’t going to have a chance to bear a son like you anymore,As there will be only one Krishna, one Arjuna and one Abhimanyu in history,In this case i became the most luckiest person by carrying you in my womb I AM SUBHADRA MOTHER OF MAHAVEER ABHIMANYU AN UNCONQUERABLE AND THE BRAVEST WARRIOR THAT HISTORY HAVE EVER SEEN –

  THE THIRTEENTH DAY

The thirteenth day at Kurukshetra
verily an unfortunate day
for this is the day a hero fall the likes of which were never seen again

there he stands on his chariot – but his face is clouded with worry
his armor shooting arrows of  light                                                        ­        

mind disturbed by confusion
truly he looks like the son a David among Goliath he stands
of the king of the night – a mammoth task on his youthful shoulders

his uncle, the king must be protected
his father is away
the enemy has planned a tricky strategy a war formation-which only he knows how to break

The Chakravyuha or Padmavyuha as it is called
in the shape of a circular lotus it is arrange a deadly trap like a venus fly-catcher  death is certain for those who enter

I know how to enter, he laments                                                          ­       but my lovely mother fell asleep
but of how to escape it  I am unaware                                                      uninterested in the skills of warfare
my father taught it to my mother                                                           ­              so I learnt only how to enter
when I was in her womb                                                  and of knowledge of the exit I was deprived”

“Go­ forth bravely”, his uncle says,
we’ll follow you closely
no one can harm even a hair
 on your head while we are there

and so Abhimanyu enters
a hero-true to his name
with courage in his heart  and the Lord’s name on his lips

he prays, ‘let me make my father proud today”                                              so rapidly do his arrows fly
like a lion he is fierce, like an eagle swift                                              that they remain unseen to the eye
ten thousand soldiers fall                                                             ­                only their stabbing tip is felt
under his wrathful gaze                                                             ­              before the receivers keel over and die

the brave warrior forges on
unaware of the goings on
his uncles have been trapped behind
he’s alone behind the enemy line

when he realizes the danger         
its far too late       
a true warrior does not his fate berate
bravely onwards he wanders

finding chinks in the enemy’s armor                                                         but treachery raises its head
he is Yama himself incarnate                                                        ­             alone he battles a crowd into every heart he strikes a mindless fear              

  

Karna, Drona, Vrshasena, Salya, Durmashana 
claiming lives as he plans an escape                         Duryodhana, Dussasana, Lakshmana, Aswathhaman 
and Kritavarman all surround
­scavengers against this lonely lion Karna does his bowstrings break and Kritavarman leaves him chariotless

multiple arrows upon him rain
he is now grievously wounded
yet unnerved and undaunted
he rises with sword and shield in hand 

he challenges his attackers thus,                                                          come one by one and I shall be glad
“O mighty warriors, this cowardly act                                                              ­     to give you a good fight
does not your stature befit, the laws of war                                        and in this fair combat befitting kings
do not prescribe for many to stand against one                                             may the best man win”

but his plea for fairness went unheard
Karna breaks his shield and Drona cuts his sword
unarmed and bleeding he employs
his chariot wheel as a final defense

but corruption is a cruel master
that ruled the minds of his attackers
together in all injustice
they smash  the chariot wheel to smithereens

they laugh their wicked laughs                                                           ­        with deceitful swords he is felled
and rejoice at Abhimanyu’s helplessness                                                      but even in death he is dignified
to his honour and their ignominy                                               his only regret is that he shall not live to see
with ruthlessness they strike                                                           ­             his queen, Uttara and his child  

but as he thinks of his father
his heart is filled with pride
“look father”, he screams to the skies
“y­our son has died a hero’s death”

“against many Maharathis  he has stood his ground
and fulfilled his dharma – he hopes you are proud
his last wish is that you should avenge
the treason that has driven him to this end”

with these last words                                                            ­                   poor Abhimanyu – his words echoed
he leaves this world                                                            ­                               filling the battlefield with dread
the villains around him dance                                                            ­         his uncles hear his bellowing roars
in a shameful victory celebration                                                      ­       and know that their beloved is dead  

with their mind-numbing sorrow
comes their unquenchable fear
how will they let their brother know
th­at he must light his son’s pyre

with bloodshot eyes they swear
that his noble death will be avenged

பெரும் விருக்ஷத்தின் விதையாகிய மாவீரனின் கதை

யுத்தத்தின் 13ஆம் நாள் குருஷேத்திரத்தில்
நிச்சயமாக ஒரு கரை படிந்த கருப்பான நாள் இன்று
ஒரு வீரன்- வரலாறு மீண்டும் காண முடியாத ஒரு கருமவீரன் இன்று மண்ணில் சாய்ந்தான்
அங்கே தேரில் அவன் நிற்க ­
அவன் முகம் முழுவதையும் கவலை சூழ்ந்திருந்தது
அவன் கைகளில் உள்ள வில்லும் கனையும் திசையெங்கும் மின்னலை போல் பாய்ந்திருக்க ­
மனம் மட்டும் குழப்பத்தால் சிக்கித் தவித்தது
எனினும் அத்தனை இடையூறுக்கு மத்தியிலும் அன்று அவன் மதங்கொண்ட யானைகளுக்கு மத்தியில் சீறி பாய்வதற்கு தயாரான சினங் கொண்ட சிங்கமாய் தோன்றினான்.
பால் மனம் மாறாத பாலகனின் தோளில் மாமலக்கு நிகரான கடமை ஏற்றப்பட்டது
பெரியப்பா, வருங்கால சக்கரவர்த்தி தருமர் காக்கப்பட வேண்டும்
அவனது தந்தையும் அவ்விடம் இல்லை
அர்ஜுனன் இல்லை என்பத்அஇ அறிந்த எதிரிகள் தங்களின் வஞ்சத்தை அரங்கேற்றினார்
அர்ஜுனன் மட்டும் சரியாக உடைத்து வெளியேற தெரிந்த போர்களை
தாமரை வடிவிலான பத்மவியூகம் என்ற சக்கரவியூகத்தை அமைத்தனர்
இவ்வியூகத்திற்குள் நுழைபவர்களுக்கு மரணத்தை பரிசளிக்க எதிரிகள் வியூகத்தின் மத்தியில் காத்திருந்தனர்
உள்ளே நுழையும் யுத்தியை நான் அறிவேன்
ஆனால் தந்தை வெளியே வரும் யுத்தியை கூறும்போது நித்தரை அன் அன்பு தாயின் கண்களை மறைத்த போது கர்பத்தில் இருந்த எனக்கு உள்ளே செல்வதற்கான வழியை மட்டுமே உள்வாங்கி கொள்ள முடிந்தது என்றான்
பரவாயில்லை, தைரியமாக செல்,
நாங்கள் உன்னை பிந்தொடர்வோம்,
நாங்கள் உள்ளவரை உன் நிழலையும் யாரும் தாக்க முடியாது என்று கூறினார் தருமர்
அதனால்
மாவீரன் அபிமன்யு வியூகத்திற்குள் பிரவேசித்தான்
பெயருக்கு எற்றார்போல் நெஞ்சில் துணிவை ஏந்தி 
கடவுளின் நாமத்தை உதட்டில் ஏந்தி 
இன்று நான் என் வீரதத்தைக் கொண்டு என் தந்தை அர்ஜூனனைக் கௌரவிக்க வேண்டும் என்று வேண்டியபடி
தன் கணைகளைத் தொடுத்தான்
சிங்கத்தின் சீற்றம், கருடனின் வேகம் கொண்டான் 
கண்ணுக்கு புலப்படாத வண்ணம் மின்னல் வேகத்தில் சுழன்றான்
புயலின் வேகத்திற்கு ஈடு கொடுக்க முடியாத மரங்கள் வேறொடு சாய்வதைப் போல் ஆயிரமாயிரம் வீரர்கள் கண்ணிமைக்கும் நொடியில் மண்ணில் சாய்ந்தனர்
துணிச்சல் பெருக்கெடுத்த வீரன்அழைத்தான்திரும்பி பார்க்க இயலாத தருனத்தில் ஏறு போல் முன்னே செல்ல
பின்னால் நடப்பதை அறிந்திலான்
பாண்டவர்கள் வியூகத்தின் வலையில் சிக்கி கொள்ள 
எதிரிகளின் எல்லைக்குள் தன்னந்தனி படையாய் நுழைந்தான் அபிமன்யு
ஆபத்தை அறிந்திடும் வேளையில் தன்னை தன் நிழல் மட்டுமே இதுவரையிலும் பின்தொடர்ந்தது என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்கிறான் மாவீரன் அபிமன்யு
ஆனால் உத்தம வீரனுக்கு தன்னுள் குடி கொண்ட வீரம் தான் தன் பலம் மற்றவை வெறும் கைப்பிடியே என்பதை நன்கு அறிந்தவனாய்
தனித்தே தொடர்ந்து சென்றான்
ஆனால் அதர்மம தன் ஆடத்தை ஆட ஆரம்பித்தது
அபிமன்யு வெறும் நரனா அல்லது நரன் ரூபத்தில் இருக்கும் யமனா என்று அறியா வண்ணம் 
மதயானை கூடத்துடன் ஒற்றை ஆளாக மோதி அச்சத்தை அறிந்திட நெஞ்சினில் உயிர் பயத்தை விதைத்தான்
கர்ணன், துரோணர், விருஷசேன், சால்யன், துர்மஷானா போன்றோர் அபிமன்யுவின் வீரத்திற்க்கு பதில் கூற முடியாமல் உயிர் தப்பிக்க அல்லாடினர், 
வழியில் வந்த ஒவ்வொருவரையும் வேறோடு எரித்து முன்னேறி சென்ற அபிமன்யு என்ற காட்டுத்தீயைத் துரியோதனன், துட்சாதனன், லக்ஷ்மனன், அஸ்வத்தாமன் மற்றும் கிருதவர்மன் என்ற மதயானை கூட்டம் சுற்றிவலைத்தது
கொடைவள்ளலாம் கர்ணன் என்பவன் அபிமன்யுவை குடை போல் காத்த அவனது வில்லை உடைத்தான்
கிருதவர்மனோ தனது பங்கிற்கு அபிமன்யு வீற்றிருந்த தேரை உடைத்தான்
வீரம் பாய்ந்த நெஞ்சில் கூர்மையான கனைகள் மாறி மாறி பாய்ந்தன
ரோஜ இதழைப் போன்ற மென்மையான உடல் இன்று காயங்களால் இரனமாகி போனது
இருந்தும் இரத்தமே பீரிட்டு வந்தாலும் அதனால் சோர்ந்து விழாமல்
கைகளில் வாளை ஏந்தி 
அனைவரையும் ஒவ்வொருவராக வந்து மரணத்தை தன்னிடமிருந்து பரிசாக பெற்றுச் செல்லும்படி அழைத்தான்
ஓ வீரர்களே, இந்த கோளைச் செயல் தான் தமது அதிகபட்ச வீரத்தின் வெளிப்பாடோ ­
நிஜமான வீரர் என்றாள் யுத்தவிதி படி ஒருவருடன் ஒருவர் என்று போரிடுவோம், அப்போது தெரியும் யார் மண்ணில் சாய்வார் என்று கொக்கரித்தார் மாவீரன் அபிமன்யு ­
ஆனால் அபிமன்யுவை தன்னந்தனியாக சமாளிக்க திறன் இல்லாத இயலாதவர்கள் கௌரவர்கள் என்பதை நிருபிக்க
கர்ணன் அபிமன்யு கைகளில் இருந்த கவசத்தை உடைத்தான், குல குருவான துரோணரோ குலச்சுடரின் கைகளில் உள்ள வாளை உடைத்தான்
நிராயுதபாணியாய் உடல் எங்கும் குறுதி பெறுக்கெடுத்த நிலையிலும் குன்றாத தன் வீரத்தின் வெளிப்பாட்டாலும் சூரிய அஸ்தமனம் வரை ஆயுதத்தை தியாகம் செய்யக்கூடதென்ற உறுதியாலும் கடைசி ஆயுதமாய் உடைந்த தன் தேரின் சக்கரத்தை கையில் ஏந்தினார் மாவீரன் அபிமன்யு
எத்தனை முறை எரித்தாலும் எரித்த சாம்பலில் இருந்து பிறந்து வரும் தீக்குருவியைப் போல எத்துணை முறை கூட்டாக சேர்ந்து அடித்தாலும் மீண்டும் வீரத்திமிர் கொண்டு எழுந்து நிற்க்கும் அபிமன்யுவை இம்முறை விட்டு விடக்கூடாது என்ற கோபம் தலைக்கேர அனைவரும் ஒன்றாக இனைந்து சக்கரத்துடன் அபிமன்யுவையும் சேர்த்து அனு அனுவாகா வதைத்தெறிந்தனர்
உடல் முடமாக்கப்பட்டு சிர உடைக்கப்பட்டு குத்துயிரும் கொலை உயிருமாய் இருந்த அபிமன்யுவின் நிலையைக் கண்ட பாவிகளின் மொத்த உருவமான கௌரவபடையைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் சிரித்து மகிழ்ந்தனர்
ஆனால் மண்ணில் சாய்ந்தாலும் அன்று உயர்ந்தது மாவீரன் அபிமன்யுவின் கரமே
தான் அனுமதித்த பின்பே மரனமே அவ்வீரனை தழுவ முடிந்தது  ­
கடமைவீரன் என்றாலும் அபிமன்யு மனதிலும் ஒரு சிறு ஏக்கம்
கட்டிய தாலியில் ஈரம் கூட காயத நிலையில் தன் மனைவி உத்திரையையும் இன்னும் ஜனிக்கவே இல்லாத தனது குழந்தையின் முகத்தைக்கூட பார்க்காமல் இருவரையும் விட்டு செல்வதை எண்ணி மனதிற்குள் ஏங்கினார் மாவீரன் அபிமன்யு
ஆனால் தனது வீரத்தால் தன் தந்தைக்கு மிகப்பெரிய புகழைத் தேடி தந்ததை எண்ணிய போது காயங்களும் ஏக்கங்களும் மறைந்து மநதெங்கும் பூரிப்பு சூழ்ந்தது
பார்த்தீர்களா தந்தையே, என்று வானத்தை நோக்கி கூறினான்
தமது மகன் இன்று வீர மரணம் எனும் பெறும் பேறு பெறப்போகிறான்
அதர்ம வழியில் பல மஹரதிகள் என்னோடு போரிட்டாலும் நான் இறுதி வரையிலும் ஆயுதங்களை தியாகம் செய்யாமலும் தர்ம வழியிலிருந்து சிறிதும் தவறாமலும் என் கடமையை பூரணமாக முடித்தேன்- இதில் தமக்கு பெருமை தானே?
எனது கடைசி விருப்பம் யாதாகினில் அதர்மத்தின் மறு உருவமான அந்த அதர்மிகளை தம் கரம் கொண்டு வேறறுக்க வேண்டும்
என்ற கடைசி வார்த்தையுடன்
மாவீரன் அபிமன்யுவின் குரலோடு அவரது மூச்சும் முழுவதுமாக நின்றுபோனது
போர்களம் எங்கும் மயான இருளும் அமைதியும் பரவ
கொஞ்சம் கூட வெட்கமே இல்லாமல் கௌரவர்கள் சந்தோஷ ஓலமிட
பாண்டவர்களோ துக்கத்தால் கண்ணிர்விட
போர் முடிந்து வரும் அர்ஜுனனிடம் அவனது அன்புசால் புத்திரன் அபிமன்யு விண்ணகம் எய்திய செய்தியை எவ்வாறு சொல்வதென்ற பயமும் கூடவே அவர்களை பிடித்திருந்தது.
கண்களில் வழியும் கண்ணீர் தீயாய் மாறியது, மாவீரன் அபிமன்யுவின் மரணத்திற்கு காரணமான கௌரவர்களுக்கு தக்க தண்டனை வழங்கிடுவோம் என்று பாண்டவர்கள் சூழுரைத்தணர்

மண்னோடு மண்ணாக அந்த மாவீரனின் குருதியும் கலந்தது

The mighty lord Yama throws his trap above a young lad காலனின் வலை வீச்சிலே பாலகன் நிலையானதே..

Though surrounded by a herd of cowards, Mahaveer Abhimanyu’s act is still considered as the most bravest act and a valuable victory for the Pandavas’ ally கயவர் கரத்தில் சிக்கியே வீழ்ந்தாலுமே அது வெற்றியே.
